I think my best course o action is to go with another wireless card OR wait until Intel corrects this problem in their next driver release which is wishful thinking Thanks. Problem is, Windows 10 does not have working drivers and neither does Intel. However, in order to use all available features of this hardware, you must install the appropriate drivers.
As for applying this release, the installation steps should not pose to much wirepess-n a challenge since each producer intends to make the procedure as easy as possible: Change it to “Maximum Performance” for all modes. Anyone care to comment on this? At that time solution was to stuck with the older version of the drivers and do away with the new version.

I made these changes on all 4 of my power plans and the problem hasn’t occurred again. Select Change plan settings next to the power plan.
