I suspect that for the majority of use it won’t make a difference which you choose, except in extreme corner cases. NTFS would work, if you’re going to write in windows and read-only in linux. Reiser FS is practically dead. This is true even for the official manual.

For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration.
